I would like to say a special thanks to Darin and First Baptist Church for providing such a great spot to perform. They put together such a fantastic venue for myself and Kevin to play in and for many of you to enjoy. It was a pleasure and an honour to perform for all of you.
In the aftermath of the show I would like to clarify that the EP title “I Heart Elsewhere” is not a direct complaint about Saskatoon any more than “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” is an indictment on the cargo loading abilities of Wisconsonian dock workers (after all “The ship was the pride of the American side, Coming back from some mill in Wisconson”). It’s more about….well if I told you that it would remove all the mystery and wonder so come around some time and ask me. I’d be glad to tell you.
If anyone has some good pictures they are willing to share from the show please let me know. I saw some flashes going off.
A good friend at 1st Baptist Church has offered Kevin and myself a chance to play there on October 26th. We’re viewing it as a chance to play and preview the show we’re taking to Seattle/Portland for all of you local supporters of my music. It will be a free show with some new music for sale. I believe they will be selling coffee and such for you to enjoy while we play. The show starts at 9 PM. Feel free to email info at darylpierce dot com if you have any other questions.
Myself and my drummer Kevin will be heading to the Seattle/Portland area for a week of shows at the beginning of November. Many thanks to Jesse Perrell of www.theleveebreaking.com for supporting and promoting my music to such extraordinary lengths. Currently confirmed gigs are as follows.

Check back to this post for updates and more information and links to artists I will be sharing the stage with.
If you went to the itunes music store and searched for ‘Daryl Pierce’ two weeks ago you wouldn’t have found it but, thanks to CD Baby now you will. In fact the album is popping up all over the place under their good graces including Napster and PayPlay.fm which has a free digital download of ‘StayAwhile’.
Many new things are happening in my little circle of musical influence. I will stretch these various new items out into several posts here for added dramatic effect but I’ll start with a few little stingers. A surround mix of a brand new tune is coming soon, performance announcements in hitherto unprecedented numbers along with a bunch of new (normal stereo) song releases.
By the way, my good friend Boycott Scott is kicking my @$$ in myspace visits (see post 27) so if you could see your way to stopping by my page oh, say every hour on the hour that would be appreciated.
I did my first start to finish radio production just before I left on holidays this summer. Please don’t misunderstand, I’ve worked on specific parts of many, many radio commercials but I’m usually the one rolling my eyes at the script rather than the one writing it. I got quite a kick out of seeing the idea come to a full 30 second realization. Special thanks to my good friend Randy W. for the slick guitar playing (we finally got a song on C95!).
